We want to hear from you! This brief survey will help us build an ongoing picture of who is (or isn’t) using our open data, for what and how we can improve it. You can also contact us directly at opendata@nzta.govt.nz.
Take the Waka Kotahi open data survey
Open data can provide numerous benefits, and the Transport Evidence Base Strategy (TEBS) names open data among its actions. Achieving this value, however, is no small feat and will require collaboration throughout the transport sector and the wider data and research community.
Transport Evidence Base Strategy (Ministry of Transport)
The transport open data framework was co-designed by a number of government organisations in the transport space, as well as other stakeholders across academic, government, the private sector, and more.
Note: it is for anyone involved with transport-related open data in Aotearoa, not just government. The framework is voluntary, and open to all groups and organisations who’d like to support the framework initiatives.

We'd love to know if you have any comments, questions or feedback, as well as how you use the framework. You can email us at opendata@nzta.govt.nz.
