    The first column of the file is a list of 65,056 marine species obtained from the Ocean Biogeographic Information System (OBIS) in 2009. The subsequent 2,056 columns are 5-degree latitude-longitude cells in which the species is present (1) or absent (0). The cells are labelled using the C-Squares notation system.
