The National Land Resource Centre (NLRC) is a collaborative science centre that was initially formulated and developed by Landcare Research in July 2012. The NLRC is a collaborative partnership among a number of Crown Research Institutes (CRIs) including Landcare Research, AgResearch, Scion, Plant & Food Research, GNS Science and ESR.

The NLRC operates beyond current institutional boundaries, to communicate science without exclusivity of language or form, and provide the evidence and capability from which to enhance and unlock the ’land economy’.
