Short-term possum foraging movements

Data supporting the article in PLoS ONE: Yockney IJ, Latham MC, Rouco C, Cross ML, Nugent G (2015) Quantifying Short-Term Foraging Movements in a Marsupial Pest to Improve Targeted Lethal Control and Disease Surveillance. PLoS ONE 10(3): e0121865. doi:10.1371/journal.pone.0121865

The Excel file contains raw GIS data from radio-collared brushtail possums (Trichosurus vulpecula) that were tracked at two different sites (NC and CO) in New Zealand’s South Island high country in 2009-2012.

These raw data were used as the basis in the manuscript by Yockney et al, principally to calculate forage range widths (FRWs) as explained in detail in the script.
