Waipa District Plan - Policy Heritage Points

Heritage points in the Waipa District Plan. These include cultural, heritage, and archaeological points.As well as listed heritage buildings there are a number of archaeological sites identified on the Planning Maps. The sites identified on the Planning Maps are sourced from the New Zealand Archaeological Association (NZAA) records as at 2009. The Plan promotes the protection, retention and maintenance of listed heritage items.The Waipa District Plan was made operative on 14 August 2017 and has legal effect from this date. Further information on interpreting the District Plan Maps are available via the Introduction to the Planning Maps on the Waipa District Council's website
