What we did (high-level)

Updated high-res historic traffic counts.

Updated data: daily traffic volumes from state highway count sites in 15-minute intervals, by vehicle class and direction, from October 2020 to September 2021.https://opendata-nzta.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/tms-traffic-quarter-hourly-oct-2020-to-sep-2021/about

Published transport sector open data framework for public comment. #codesign

The framework will enable the entire sector to align efforts, prevent wheel reinvention, improve maturity etc. We have released an initial strawperson publicly, to collect feedback, suggestions etc. https://nzta.mysocialpinpoint.com/transport-open-data-framework#

Video: funding and transport – dashboard and open data.

Our third open data webinar looks at the funding and transport dashboard, which covers funding and performance data for numerous transport-related activities. https://opendata-nzta.opendata.arcgis.com/documents/video-funding-and-transport-dashboard-and-open-data/about

Took part in and presented at two inaugural events: the Data Knowledge Hub (Ministry of Transport) and the Open data workshop (Stats NZ).
