External Reporting Board

The Financial Reporting Act established the External Reporting Board. The primary function of this Board is to review and approve financial reporting standards, which are standards that prescribe the content of financial statements. The External Reporting Board was previously known as the Accounding Standards Review Board: http://www.asrb.co.nz/ On 1 July 2011 the ASRB was replaced by the External Reporting Board (XRB).
