Real Estate Agents Authority

The Real Estate Agents Authority replaced the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand (REINZ) as the oversight body for the real estate industry.

We provide both independent oversight of the industry and increased consumer protection.

Our responsibilities are:

* licensing of people and companies working in the real estate industry
* investigating complaints
* taking disciplinary action
* setting industry standards
* providing information to consumers
